Reiki & Massage
Reiki healing and massage therapy both offer real relief from stress and tension, but they work in different ways, and together they offer something neither can fulfill on its own.
How Reiki & Massage Differ
Massage works directly with the body, hands-on pressure, movement and touch to release physical tension, improve circulation, and ease sore or tight muscles.
Reiki works with the body's energy, as a gentle hands on (or hovering) practice that calms the nervous system, quiets the mind, and supports the body's own natural ability to find balance.
One meets you in the muscle, the other in the nervous system, together they meet you fully.
How Reiki & Massage Work Together
When you pair Reiki healing with massage therapy, you're not just relaxing the body, you're calming the system that holds onto tension in the first place.
Many people find that a Reiki session before a massage helps the body let go more fully once the hands-on work begins, while massage afterward helps ground and integrate the calm Reiki brought.
It's a full system reset!
